The One and Only Danielle de Niese

Danielle de Niese won the Emmy Award at the age of 16 and is the youngest ever singer to enter the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Young Artists’ Studio. In 2015, she was invited to perform at the Last Night of the BBC Proms and has been hailed as “one of the most sought-after singers on the planet” by the BBC Radio 3.

For this concert, Danielle de Niese will present a wide range of repertoire, from a selection of arias written for opera by Mozart and a selection of songs from musicals by Bernstein to the classic Broadway songs, showcasing her versatile voice and capability to interpret music from various periods of time. Her voice features a superb quality that is crisp, bright and penetrating, demonstrating her versatility in interpreting and portraying different roles with subtle details. The richness of her performance wins her the international recognition on the world’s stage. Danielle de Niese will also perform with Lucerne Festival Strings, one of the “most distinguished chamber orchestras in Europe.” Lucerne Festival Strings is dedicated to exploring and premiering new composition with innovative spirit and has been acclaimed for its “golden sound” by Washington Post.
